1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to DIP (Duckling in Pickleball), operated by Mad Duck Tech Co., Ltd. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform at letsdip.app (the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. User Accounts

2.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account. You may register using email/password or through third-party providers (Google, LINE). You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your login credentials confidential and secure
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

2.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

2.3 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Service. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes related to pickleball activities
• Treat other users with respect and courtesy
• Provide accurate information about your skill level and experience
• Honor your event registrations and commitments
• Report match results accurately and honestly
• Follow the rules established by event organizers and clubs

4. Event Participation

4.1 Event Registration

When you register for an event through our Service, you agree to:

• Pay any required entry fees as specified by the event organizer
• Attend the event at the scheduled time and location
• Follow the event rules and organizer instructions
• Participate in good faith and display good sportsmanship

4.2 Rating System

Our platform uses the Glicko-2 rating system to track player skill levels. Your rating will be updated based on match results. You agree that:

• Ratings are calculated automatically based on match outcomes
• Ratings may affect your eligibility for certain skill-level restricted events
• Attempting to manipulate ratings through false results is prohibited

4.3 Physical Activity Acknowledgment

Pickleball is a physical activity that carries inherent risks of injury. By participating in events organized through our Service, you acknowledge these risks and participate at your own risk. We recommend consulting with a healthcare provider before engaging in physical activities.

5. Payments and Refunds

5.1 Payment Processing

We use Beam as our payment processor for transactions including PromptPay QR payments and credit card payments. By making a payment, you agree to Beam's terms of service.

5.2 Platform Role

DIP acts as an intermediary platform connecting event organizers and participants. Entry fees are collected on behalf of event organizers. We are not the event organizer unless explicitly stated.

5.3 Refund Policy

Refund policies are determined by individual event organizers. Please review the refund policy for each event before registering. Generally:

• Refund eligibility depends on the event organizer's stated policy
• Cancelled events will be refunded according to the organizer's policy
• Platform fees may be non-refundable

5.4 Credit Wallet

Credits in your wallet can be used for event registrations. Credits are non-transferable and may have expiration dates. Unused credits may not be refundable except as required by law.

6. Club and Event Organizers

6.1 Organizer Responsibilities

If you create a club or organize events, you agree to:

• Provide accurate event information (date, time, location, fees)
• Clearly state any rules, requirements, or restrictions
• Manage events in a fair and professional manner
• Respond to participant inquiries in a timely manner
• Honor your stated refund policy
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6.2 Organizer Earnings

Event organizers receive entry fees collected through our platform, minus applicable platform fees. Payouts are processed according to our organizer payment schedule.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Mad Duck Tech Co., Ltd. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
• Create derivative works based on our Service

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use automated systems or bots without permission
• Manipulate ratings or match results
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Engage in any form of fraud or deception

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for injuries occurring during events organized through our platform
• We are not responsible for the actions of event organizers or other users

10. Disclaimers

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or reliability of any information on the Service
• That the Service will meet your requirements
• That any errors will be corrected

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mad Duck Tech Co., Ltd., its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Events you organize through our platform

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Any other reason at our sole discretion

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.
